Hmmm... interesting.
Spent the day helping the girls here to clean meeting and board rooms today. Big Guy had international visitors and it was like a impromptu meeting. Raya being around the corner, most staff were on leave, so I didn't get to meet most of them - yes, including the tea lady. So yea, basically I did housekeeping work today. It was ok, I'm always willing to help.
The ambiance is extremely quiet and serious up here, but so far the girls have been friendly.
All of them joked about my housekeeping skills being tested for my first day and they apologized for not taking me out for lunch. Poor them, they only had lunch at 4pm because of the several meetings. Big Guy is very particular about certain things so things had to be perfect (so to speak), to which in time, I will have to be familiar with all of those things. He was also too busy to sit down with me today, so I guess the real challenge will only start on Wednesday after Raya.
I found out that I will be replacing his current secretary. At first I thought she was resigning, but thank God she's only stepping down (family matters). She will be handling other matters while I run his office. Lucky for me, I get a mentor - coz the job does sound very challenging!
Anyways I'm going back to Kuching Sunday morning until Tuesday night so for now, I shan't think about what challenges lies for me until I come back :P
